More About MeI earned a B.A. in History from Ball State University in 1999 and a Master in Library Science from Indiana University in 2001. I have worked professionally in the arena of digital collection organization and scholarly communication for 10 years utilizing tools such as ContentDM, DSpace, and Open Journal Systems, to create faculty, student, and community-driven digital scholarship and cultural heritage collections. Example collections include: IUPUI’s Electronic Theses and Dissertations, the open access journal, Advances in Social Work, and the Indianapolis Sanborn and Baist Atlas collection. My research interests include open access, scholarly communication, and Indianapolis history with my publications and presentations on the topics earning recognition as one of Library Journal’s Movers & Shakers in 2009. In addition to being the subject librarian for History, Women’s Studies, and American Studies, I am also the team leader for the Digital Scholarship Team. I love to ride my bike, run, and support the local Indianapolis community through organized efforts like the Tweed Ride, Historic Indianapolis, and Freewheelin Community Bikes.
